Conception and development of an innovative, wide-ranging digital platform aiming to simplify the lives of senior citizens.

Taking the digital platform to new heights

In cooperation with third-party providers, this forward-looking platform offers a wide range of activities, services and information to help senior citizens enjoy their retirement. The broad range of content can be divided into three categories: “Independent living”, “Staying healthy” and “Leisure”. Quartierplus also offers blogs containing fascinating information and an online community for chatting and making new friends. So there is something for everyone.

User experience

Quartierplus users experience a comprehensive platform offering a myriad of information cleverly sorted into different categories and domains. Clear prompts guide the user through the website.

Technology

The new website was developed using the enterprise CMS Drupal. It is currently running in version 9. The project also includes the marketing automation tool Mautic, used for communications with users and marketing automation.

Challenge

The challenge of this project was to conceive and develop something completely new. Senior citizens are a challenging audience because they are not digital natives and need to be guided through the content with a well thought-out user experience and a user design adapted to suit them.
