How we work
Knowledge transfer from the user experience team
Before we start on the user interface design, we talk to the UX experts, who will already have prepared a full UX concept. It is vital that every team involved has the same understanding of your product or service and is familiar with your requirements. The UX specifications are also the basis for the UI design. The information architecture and the wireframe will already have been finalised and tested. So now the customer provides the UI designers with their existing CD guidelines to work from. If no such guidelines exist, a new CD manual using existing colours and fonts will be prepared.
Using the front page as a template
The first step is to create the user interface design for the home page in Figma. All interactions and functionalities (e.g. button functionality) are specified and presented to you. Modifications are discussed and applied until the final design is agreed. Testing (e.g. UX testing or A/B testing using focus groups) can also be carried out at this stage. Once the user interface design for the home page has been approved, it is applied to every page.
Application across the site
Depending on whether most users access your website from a mobile device or desktop, the initial design is adapted for that device. Once the UI design has been accepted for that device, it is applied to all other devices. It goes without saying that we focus on providing fully responsive designs.
You accept the user interface design
Naturally, the finalised user interface design is reviewed and accepted by the customer. The entire website can be tested and evaluated a final time by carrying out usability tests on a high-fidelity prototype. Then the design is handed over to our front- and backend developers.
