What is benchmark testing?
During a benchmark test, your product is compared with the products of selected competitors using pre-defined criteria. The aim is to measure how well your product is currently performing and set goals for optimisation.
The pre-defined criteria may include:
- Conformity with DIN EN ISO 9241 Parts 11 and 110
- Architecture and technical parameters
- Functional scope
- USP
- Graphic design
How we approach benchmark testing
Competitor analysis
We review the competition and identify two products with similar functions and target audiences for comparison.
Recruitment of test subjects
We identify users who are representative of your target audience and recruit them for testing.
Usability tests
Using your target audience, we test your digital product against that of the competition.
Evaluation
We evaluate the tests and use the results to compare the performance of the various products.
Recommendations and optimisations
We use the test results to develop recommendations and optimisations for enhancing the usability of your product.
Benefits of benchmark testing
