What is usability analysis?
In a usability analysis, experts evaluate your digital product to identify potential difficulties that users may encounter. They do this using established usability principles such as Nielsen’s usability heuristics or standard DIN EN ISO 9241. Usability analysis can take the form of a formative assessment carried out at the start of the development process, or a summative test carried out at the end. Testing at the end of the process can also include additional methods such as A/B testing, in which your product is compared against an earlier version or a competitor product (benchmark testing). The goal of usability analysis is to uncover problems or weaknesses relating to usability and make recommendations for optimisation. Our recommendations graded by priority are set out in a report.
